Statement of faith

We believe that the Bible is God’s Word to man and that it is the only authority for doctrine and practice.

We believe that the salvation experience is a prerequisite to church membership.

We believe that immersion is the only proper mode of baptism and that it is in this way that we obey Christ’s command, follow his example, and portray his death, burial, and resurrection.

We believe in the right of each member of the church to a voice in its government, program, and discipline.

We believe in the freedom of the individual, in the voluntary principle, and in the cooperative action in all matters pertaining to faith and practice.

We believe in the independence and separation of church and state.
